SCANDINOVA SYSTEM AB CONTRACT WITH ADVANCED ENERGY SYSTEMS,
WORLD LEADER IN PARTICLE ACCELERATOR TECHNOLOGY FOR TANDEM
SOLID STATE PULSE MODULATOR!

ScandiNova Systems AB, a manufacturer of solid state pulsed high voltage modulator power supplies,
announced today that they have been selected and signed a contract with Advanced Energy Systems
(AES), a world leading supplier of particle accelerator components and systems.

Advanced Energy Systems ordered a specially designed tandem version of their Model K1 Solid State
Power Modulator that incorporates, and drives sequentially, two Klystron tubes. The modulator will be a
part of a linear accelerator system that is being designed, manufactured and delivered by AES to a US
facility.
