High Power Solid State Klystron Modulator system for NSRRC.
National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC) in Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C. has ordered a high power klystron modulator system from Scandinova.
The modulator system will operate the Thales TH2100A klystron, this klystron is widely used at research centers world-wide. The modulator system is based on Scandinova unique and patented Solid State Technology with proven reliability. The system design ensures a cost effective operation at a minimum of operational costs as there are now high cost consumables that requires exchange. Mikael Lindholm, President and CEO, ScandiNova Systems: - “We are please to have been selected as supplier to the highly respected research center NSRRC. With this order we have further strengthen our position as supplier of State-of-the-art Solid State Technology to the pulsed power society. We do currently experience a big interest on our pulsed power technology from companies/institutes world-wide. We are now offering a true Solid State technology that is attractive both in performance and as a cost effective system in initial investment as well as operational cost.” For further information about National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center: www.nsrrc.org.tw
